Fourteen Shocker Track Clubbers punched their tickets to compete in the 2023 USATF Junior Olympics by placing in the top 8 of their respective events at the USATF Region 9 Championship Meet held on July 6-9 at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
STC Qualifiers included – Olivia Brunk (100, 200, and 400), Genevieve Mick (High Jump), Vivian Lieurance (100mH, 200mH, High Jump and Pole Vault), Megan Smart (Javelin), Isabella Powell-Pandiri (100mH), KateLyn Nichols (High Jump and Triple Jump), McKinlee Walker (High Jump, Long Jump and 100mH), Gabrielle Newell (10omH), Faith Ekart (800m and 1500m), Karynne David (100m, 200m and 400m), Lanie Page (High Jump and Long Jump), Adryana Shelby (100mH and 400mH), Nathan Webb (400m and 800m), and Cooper Nation (Long Jump and High Jump).
The USATF Junior Olympics will be held in Historic Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon, on the campus of the University of Oregon, on July 24-30, 2023.
