The Shocker Track Club is a USATF Club, and a USATF Youth membership ( www.usatf.org ) is required for Youth athletes competing in track meets in June and July.

2025-2026 Fall/Winter Indoor program information –
The minimum age for participating in our Indoor programs is nine (9).
No experience is necessary, but this program is for athletes serious about learning and improving their Track and Field skills. STC provides training in every event in Track and Field; all implements, and equipment are provided.

– will be held indoors at the Wichita State University Heskett Center and is for Youth and Adults.
– is mandatory for kids 10-and-Under interested in joining STC for the first time.
– is primarily a fitness program with no specific event work.
– facilitates activities of a Track-centric nature focusing on the “standard and proper movements” for all events in Track and Field!

UPDATE – Information for June and July 2025 IS BELOW! Beginning Monday, June 2, 2025 practices will be held at Wichita Heights High School at 5301 North Hillside Wichita KS 67219
We are pleased to again offer Spring (April and May) Track and Field Training beginning on April 2, 2025. Kids can join at any time during the Spring/Summer Season. The first practice will be Wednesday, April 2, 2025, from 615p until 745p outside at Wichita State University’s Cessna Stadium. Athletes ages 7 through 12th grade AND HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATES are able to participate. Training for Sprinting, Distance, Long Jump and Throws will be provided.
All Practices are on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, and will be held on the Wichita Heights High School track or the Wichita State University Heskett Center. Practices begin with an organized, group warm-up activity designed to both stretch and teach appropriate and applicable body movement positions necessary for every event in Track and Field. We are pleased to again offer 2024-2025 Fall/Winter Indoor Track and Field Training beginning on October 1, 2024. Kids can join at any time during the season. The first practice will be Tuesday, October 1, 2024, from 615p until 745p outside at Wichita State University’s Heskett Center. Athletes ages 9 through 18 and high school seniors are able to participate. Training is provided for Sprints, Distance, All Jumps, All Throws, Hurdles, and Pole Vault!
All Practices will be held on the Wichita State University campus in the Heskett Center or at Cessna Stadium. All practices begin with an organized, group warm-up activity designed to both stretch and teach appropriate and applicable body movement positions necessary for every event in Track and Field.
