Leadership of the Shocker Track Club Youth Team is in discussion with Wichita State University-ICAA to identify a start-date for our summer program later this month at the Cessna Stadium track.  Our Coaches are ready to go to work!  We thus appreciate your patience as we work through the process of identifying the requirements necessary due to the challenges of COVID-19. As soon as we complete our discussion with Wichita State we will begin the registration process.

We will have hand sanitizer available, and also implement various health safety guidelines in order to provide as safe of an environment as possible for athletes, coaches, parents, and visitors.  This will include asking athletes to complete a self-health assessment prior to entering the practice area.  We will also recommend that athletes strongly consider wearing sun or safety glasses during practices.

For those of you interested in track meets – at this time the Track and Field competition of the Kansas Sunflower Games is still scheduled to be held July 10-11 in Topeka.  At this time no competitions will be held for Hurdles, Pole Vault, or High Jump. If you have any questions about our program, or would like to be placed on our “I’m interested, please contact me” list, please contact Darren Muci at president@shockertrackclub.com
