2014-15 Shocker TC Elite Team Announced!
The Shocker Track Club is pleased to announce the roster for the 2014-15 Shocker Track Club Elite and Developmental Elite Teams! Chandra Andrews (Hammer), Matt Byers (Javelin), and Tomas Cotter (Distance) return. Former Wichita State Shocker NCAA All-American athletes Matt Bahner (Decathlon), Natalie Morerod (400H), and Aliphine Tuliamuk-Bolton (Distance) join the team, along with sprinters Oliver Bradwell and Joshua Manual. Each member has the ability to earn an opportunity to compete at the USATF National Championship Indoor and Outdoor meets in 2015. Meet the entire team! >>
3rd Annual Masters Open Meet – September 13th!
There’s still time to register for the 3rd Annual Shocker Track Club “Wichita Masters/Open Track and Field Meet” on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at Wichita State University’s Historic Cessna Stadium Track. Registration is open to all athletes ages 19-90+. The Pole Vault is open to Youth competitors.
Field Events begin at 900a; Running Events begin at 1000a with a relaxed, 1500m Powerwalk race for casual walkers!!!

2014 2015 Board Members Announced
The Board of Directors of the Shocker Track Club selected the following individuals to serve as Board Members for the 2014 – 2015 year. Members are – Darren Muci (President), Chris Ellis (Vice President), Ryan Patton (Treasurer), Larry Staton (Secretary), John Wise, Steve Rainbolt, Cole Davis, Michael Draut, Vic Everett, Bill Faflick, Dylan Hartnett, Curtis Hernandez, Amber McGown, Emily Green Maier, Laura Markuly, J Means, Natalie Morerod, Mark Schwarm, Patrick Simon, Damian Smithhisler, Darius Draudvila, and Joan Hearne.

STC Youth Tracksters Head to Texas and Iowa Eyeing Championships
With only the USATF National Junior Olympics and AAU Junior Olympics remaining this season, 15 STC Youth Athletes headed to Turner Stadium in Humble, Texas, and Drake Stadium in Des Moines, Iowa, for the USATF and AAU Junior Olympics championship meets! We are proud of their hard work and wish them the best!!!

STC Masters and Youth Team Members Take Topeka by Storm
STC Masters Team members Larry Staton, Donna and Steve Wilson, and Tony Sumler, and several members of the Youth Team competed well at the annual Kansas Sunflower Games. Staton won golds in the 100m, 200m, and 400m!

STC Youth Tracksters Head to Topeka and Arkansas on Hardware Hunt
Nearly 20 STC Youth Athletes will be competing this weekend at the annual Kansas Sunflower Games in Topeka, Kansas, and the USATF Region 9 Championships at Conway, Arkansas!

Olympian visits Youth Practice
Darius Draudvila, 2012 Lithuanian Olympian (Decathlon), visited the STC Youth team practice. Draudvila, a retired STC Elite Team Member and former Kansas State University All-American, took a break from his distance training run to provide training suggestions to the STC Youth sprint corp. The sprint corp members gained important knowledge about getting appropriate rest and maintaining and appropriate diet.
