The Shocker Track Club continues to promote fun and exciting track and field events in the Wichita area, announcing two new meets in the coming months. The STC Throws Pentathlon will be October 27 while the STC Master’s/Open Indoor Meet will be December 15.
This will be the 2nd annual Throws Pentathlon hosted by the STC. This unique competition is open to all ages and will be contested at the Wichita State Throws Field. Cost is $20 to compete in all five events and a t-shirt and lunch will be provided for all competitors. Events will begin at 10am on October 27. The first ever STC Master’s/Open Indoor Meet will be held at Wichita State’s Heskett Center on December 15th beginning at 8:30am for field events and 10:30am for running events.
