A club record Twenty-nine (29) Shocker Track Club Youth athletes qualified – by competing in the USATF Region 9 Meet – to compete in the USATF Junior Olympics held in Savannah, Georgia at Savannah State University! Seventeen (17) athletics elected to compete, and braved oppressive heat and humidity at Savannah State University.
Athletes and their events are – Adeline Mick (Shot Put, Long Jump, Triathlon), Remyngton Naylor (High Jump), Jeci Mead (3000m), Olivia Moffitt (100m, 200m), Aniyah Washington (800m), Vivian Lieurance (Heptathlon, Pole Vault, High Jump, 100mH), Genevieve Mick (800m, Javelin), Secret Dye (100mH and 400mH), Kayla Frost (Heptathlon and Triple Jump), Elliana Smith (High Jump), Obadiah Magnett (100m, 200m and Long Jump), Apollo Henry (400m), James Blackman (100m, 200m and 400m), Jeremiah Gonzalez (800m and 1500m), Levi Thompson (400m), Gage Schroeder (High Jump), and Ka’Marius (KD) Williams (200m, 110mH and 400mH).
