Sixteen (16) STC Youth Team athletes qualified to compete in the Junior Olympics to be held this week at Texas A&M University!
The athletes are – Rory Stevenson (Middle Distance), Sebastian Gerlach (Javelin), Trevor Russell (Middle Distance), Demarco Wilcher (Sprints), Ripley Cole (Jumps), Cooper Nation (High Jump), Adeline Mick (Jumps), Ashlyn Brennan (Long Jump), Remyngton Naylor (Jumps), Malin Carlson (Middle Distance), Vivian Lieurance (Hurdles and PV), Megan Smart (Javelin), Mariah Hutton (High Jump), Kiera Smith (Sprints), Kayla Frost (Jumps), KateLyn Nichols (High Jump), Lillian Stafford (Throws) and Adryana Shelby (Hurdles). This will be the second consecutive Junior Olympics qualification for KateLyn Nichols and Adryana Shelby, with Shelby a returning medalists in the 100mH in 2023.
