September 2022 Intercession –
This program will be held at Wichita State’s Cessna Stadium. Ten (10) practices will be held during September on the Cessna Stadium track with a focus on general fitness through running, strength development, plyometrics, and ab exercises and other activities.
Practice Dates > September 1, 7, 10, 12, 14, 19, 21, 24, 26, and 28 (10 and 24 are Saturday morning practices)

Youth Athletes > $30 (Ages 8 through 18 (current high school students))
Adult Athletes > $30 (Ages 18 (high school graduates) and up)

Indoor 2022-2023 Youth Track and Field –
This program begins in October and lasts through the end of February with activities generally held indoors in the evenings at Wichita State’s Heskett Center.  Other practice locations are possible.  Training and Coaches are available for every event in Track and Field. The minimum age for Youth athletes is eight (8).  Adult athletes of all ages can also participate.  In October and November, 2-3 practices are typically held each week.  In December through February 3-4 practices are typically held each week.
Youth Athletes > $130 Joiner Fee for the first month with a $25 additional fee for each additional month.
Adult Athletes > $80 (Open and Masters Teams)

Shocker Track Club Elite Team member – Dominic Artis (100m-10.75 and 200m-21.53) – and Open Team members – Claudia Rojo-Cazorla (400H – 1:01.05), Madison Castillo (Long Jump – 2.82m), and Froebel Acelas (100m-12.17 and 200m-25.59) – competed well in optimal conditions in Wichita State University’s outdoor season ending Shocker Open!  Artis continues to post consistent times in the sprint events, while Rojo-Cazorla also competed well!  Castillo and Acelas were making their outdoor season debuts!

STC Elite Team Member, Samantha Shukla, won the Wichita Prairie Fire Spring 2022 5K Women’s Race today – and was third place overall – in 18:17.00.  The second place finisher was over two minutes slower.
