Envision 100m Returns in the STC Wichita Outdoor Masters Meet
The Shocker Track Club is honored to celebrate its strategic partnership with Envision by hosting the 2nd Annual Envision 100m Dash for Blind and Visually Impaired Athletes!
The 2017 STC Wichita Masters/Open Outdoor Track and Field Meet (which doubles as the USA Track and Field Missouri Valley Association Outdoor Masters Championship Meet) will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at Wichita State University’s Cessna Stadium.

Registration is Now Open for the Wichita Outdoor Masters Meet
Online registration is now open for the 2017 Shocker Track Club Wichita Masters and Open and USATF Missouri Valley Association Masters Outdoor Championship. The meet will be contested on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at Wichita State University’s Cessna Stadium and features the Envision 100m Dash for Blind/Visually Impaired Athletes. Compete in as many events as you like for $40. Event t-shirts are $12. Payment will be accepted at the Meet Registration Table.

Knight, Kallenberger to Compete in Underground Pole Vault Competition
STC Elite Developmental Team members Tyler Knight and Brittany Kallenberger will compete in the “Battle for the Underground; Man vs. Nature Pole Vault Competition in Crystal City, Missouri, on Saturday, August 19, 2017!

Stephanie Knab Competes in the SeaWheeze Half Marathon
STC Youth Team Director Stephanie Knab competed in her first long distance competition in today’s SeaWheeze Half Marathon in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada! Stephanie posted a very respectable time of 2:51:09! Congratulations, Stephanie!

Youth Team Ends Season on a High Note at USATF JO’s!
A great season came to a close Monday with a BBQ Cookout at Wichita State’s Cessna Stadium! The annual end-of-the-season meal celebrated the accomplishments of all 98 athletes, and the 11 athletes that competed at the USATF Junior Olympics in Lawrence, Kansas!
Congratulations to the athletes that competed valiantly in the USATF Junior Olympics included –

Meet STC and Shocker Track Stars!
Tuesday, August 1, 2017, the Shocker Track Club will host a social event at Third Place Brewing at 7:00pm (630 East Douglas, Wichita, KS). On hand will be former Shockers, and current Shocker Track Club Elite Team Members, Austin Bahner and Tonya Nero, as well as current stars Hunter Veith and Deja Young. The event is open to the public so come to downtown Wichita for a fun evening with the Shocker Track & Field community!

Attention Distance Runners and Road Racers!
The Shocker Track Club (STC) is excited and pleased to announce the formation of its fifth athletics team – Road Racing!
The informational meeting and inaugural practice will be held at 6:00 p.m., on Thursday, August 3, 2017, on the track at Wichita State University’s Cessna Stadium. Park in the small lot of 21st Street between the stadium and the Charles Koch Area Aetna Multi-Purpose Gymnasium.
The STC Road Racing Team is for the casual and competitive adult runner that desires to improve their capabilities and performances with goals of competing in various road racing, cross country, and track events. Emerging Elite, and Elite athletes are welcome.
The annual membership fee is $110 and includes: coaching, coaching strategies, strategic practicing, a team competition jersey, shoe purchase discount at team sponsor First Gear Running Company, and a donation to the team foundation to support Road Racing Team Elite athletes. Join in August and receive official Shocker Track Club sunglasses!

Madison Castillo Competes in Adaptive Sports USA Junior Nationals
Shocker Track Club Open Team member, Madison Castillo, competed in the Adaptive Sports USA Juniors Nationals Meet in Middleton, Wisconsin! Madison, a former Shocker Track Club Youth Team member, and current member of the Friends University Track and Field Team, competed in the 100m (1st), 200m (1st), Long Jump (1st), Discus (1st), Shot Put (2nd), and 800m Medley Relay (2nd)!

Several Shocker Track Club athletes braved the heat in Topeka to compete in the annual Sunflower Games on July 15th! Competing were – Breckynn Lee (400m), Lauren Ealey (100m, 200m and 400m), Sue Nyberg (Long Jump, Discus and Hammer), Gage Larson (Pole Vault), Steve Wilson (100m), Joe Hoover (80H, Triple Jump and Shot Put), and Nicholas Rodriguez (1500m and 3000m).
