STC Youth Team Kick-off
The Board of Directors of the Shocker Track Club is pleased to announce the selection of Patrick Simon as Director of its Youth program.
An informational meeting for parents will be held at 600p on Friday, November 22nd at the Wichita State University Track and Field Team Room at Cessna Stadium to provide information about the indoor season.

Youth Team Leadership Changes
The Shocker Track Club Board of Directors has changed the leadership structure of its Youth team for the 2013 – 2014 season. Changes include new leadership positions, and team workouts and practices designed by the coaching staff of the Wichita State University Track and Field Team. Individuals interested in applying for leadership positions – Director, Assistant Director, Coaches, Team Mom/Dad, Assistant Team Mom/Dad, and Team Parents – may do so by completing the application available herein on the Youth Team “Leadership” pull-down menu, or the Shocker Track Club Youth Team Facebook page.
STC Annual Throws Pentathlon
The 2nd Annual STC Throws Pentathlon will be held October 26, 2013 at Wichita State University’s Cessna Stadium and Throws Field.
Women will begin at 1230p with Men to follow. Weigh-ins will begin at 1100a. A meal will be provided for participants.

2013 – 2014 Board Members Announced
The Shocker Track Club has named its Board Officers and Board of Directors for 2013-2014 — Darren Muci (President), Chris Ellis (Vice-President), Chandra Andrews (Treasurer), and Larry Staton (Secretary). Board of Directors include – Steve Rainbolt, John Wise, Sarah Doyle, Michael Draut, Vic Everett, Bill Faflick, Brian Hargrove, Dylan Hartnett, Mike Holladay, Emily Green Maier, Amber McGown, Laura Markuly, Jerry Proffitt and Patrick Simon. Ex officio members are – T.J. Arant, Darius Draudvila, and Joan Hearne

There’s still time to register for the second annual Shocker Track Club Masters/Open meet! Adults of all ages are welcome and encouraged to “spike up” and register to compete! The meet will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2013 at Wichita State’s Cessna Stadium beginning at 900a with the open (ALL AGES) pole vault competition. Running events begin at 1030a. Wichita State T&F Announces Signings for 2013 2014
Wichita State University Director of Track and Field Steve Rainbolt announced the signing of 14 men to join the program this fall, including Rose Hill High and Shocker Track Club team member Colton Mays. “This recruiting class looks to be another very good group of newcomers for our track team,” said Rainbolt. “I am confident they will develop and contribute to success at Wichita State in the Missouri Valley Conference Championships and beyond. Youth Team Members Head to USATF and AAU JO’s
15 Shocker Track Club youth athletes qualified for either the USA Track and Field, or AAU Junior Olympic championship meets! STC’ers will be “putting it down” at the USATF meet in Greensboro, North Carolina, and the AAU meet in Detroit, Michigan. Congratulations to the hardworking athletes and their parents!
