Elite Team Back in Action Placing High

STC Elite Team members Chris Cralle (Hammer – 2nd place with 74.29m), Chandra Andrews (Hammer – 1st place with 62.25m), Jon Rizzo (Javelin – 2nd place with 65.33m), and Tomas Cotter (800m – 1st place with 1:51.93) competed in the Wildcat Open at Kansas State University on Saturday, May 10th.  Andrews then traveled to the Sam Williams Twilight Qualifier at Emporia State University for another Hammer throwing victory (58.45m), and the opportunity to meet up with teammates Matt Byers (Javelin – 1st place with 73.03m) and Joshua Manual (100m – 1st place with 10.66).

Youth Team Registration Information

Elite Team Turns Up The Heat!

Elite Team Members Chris Cralle (Hammer), John Rizzo (Javelin), and Chandra Andrews (Hammer) competed in the Emporia State University Mid-Week Open on April 23rd and posted impressive victories.  Cralle broke an 18-year-old Emporia State University stadium record by over 3 meters with a throw of 235′-4″.  Click here for the complete results >>EmporiaStateMidWeek04 2014.

Elite Team Gets Busy!

Elite Team members Chris Cralle, Chandra Andrews, Tomas Cotter, Matt Byers, John Rizzo and Danielle Chapman all competed at the Wichita State KT Woodman Class, with Cralle, Andrews and Cotter all posting impressive victories in the Men’s Hammer, Women’s Hammer, and Men’s 1500m, respectively! Youth Team Information!

The  STC 2014 Spring and Summer Youth Team is ready to roll!  Actually run!
The Parent Informational meeting will be held on Monday, April 14, 2014 at 630p in the Wichita State University Track and Field Team Room in Cessna Stadium (northwest corner at the bottom of the ramp).  All registration information will be provided.
Practice begins on Tuesday, April 15th  on the Cessna Stadium track at 600p for elementary students (Grades K through 5) and middle school students (grades 6 through 8) that are not competing for their school’s team.
 
Practices will be on Tuesday and Thursday from 600p to 730p at Cessna Stadium.  New this year is a Youth Team Practice and Training Manual developed by Wichita State University Track and Field Coaching Staff, Athletes, and Shocker Track Club Youth Coaches.  Click here for the Manual >> STC Youth Practice Manual Spring Summer 2014
